Legends of Californian Rock/Ska, Camper Van Beethoven play their first ever show in Brighton at The Haunt on May 30th 2013!
Their latest album, ‘La Costa Perdida’, was released on January 22, 2013, preceded by the single “Northern California Girls”. The music was inspired in part by Holland-era Beach Boys, with a heavy Northern California influence. The album contains the band’s usual diversity, with ska, country, psychedelia, and Northern Mexican, Eastern European and South Asian-influenced melodies all making appearances. Lowery later revealed that there were seven songs recorded during the sessions that were not released, which would be included on a follow-up album to be finished in 2013.
